Starting to Mod the 2002 4.4 :)
 

Hi guys, I've officially been bitten by the mod bug. My last car was a 97 M3 which I did over 20 mods to :D

My current X5 is an 02 4.4 with sport and premium package installed. :thumbup:

So far I just ordered an E46 ZHP Alcanatara M 3 spoke steering wheel. Should be here by Thur/Fri.

Anyway, I am considering doing I would love your opionions on these or if you can point me to a better thread that would be appreciated:

1. Upgrade suspension: To do KW coilovers ($2300) or h+rs and bilsteins ($1000 more or less).

2. Intake: AFE, $350. Really want to do it, I love the growl of an intake, i had one on my last car.

3. Aluminum Pedals: thinking of going with a full OEM setup, dead pedal etc. ($200).

4. 20 inch 4.6is wheels ($1200) I have the 19s right now. Or go with the 22 inch version of the 4.8is wheels, but am worried about a rough ride, San Diego roads get about a "D-."

5. LED Taillights, is their a good store front for these? I saw some on eBay but am wary of eBay lights.

PS - I need to replace two front door speaker grilles as they are broken :(. Where to get these on the cheap, $tealer wanted $70 each OMFG!!!:wow:
