There is a chance that BMW will goodwill my rough idle issue! :thumbup:

I will keep you guys posted. My engine falls within the TSB and now they want to start it up in the AM and see how bad it idles when its cold. Then they're gonna take out the levers and see what the date is on them and go from there.

My friend is the tech working on the issue so hopefully it all works out. So far they've been really cool about it. I was hoping they would take care of a longtime BMW owner. I mean, I only drive bmws and I have gotten all my friends to buy them. I should be an amassador to BMW :)

What TSB are you referencing?

My friend didn't tell me which one but he says it matches up with a TSB and they all know its a known issue. Its just a matter of proving that the car has the issue (formal tests) then going from there.

Interesting, get the number if you can (should be on the eventual work order).

The SIB# will be referenced in the repair order since goodwill is treated exactly like warranty on the paperwork side.
