DSC warning, red Brake light on!
 

Hi all, I'm enjoying this forum since i purchased my used X5, 3.0 SP, 01 a year ago.
This morning, I have noticed that the yellow DSC warning light and red brake light are on (no ABS warning).
Since the car is out of warrenty for a while, just wondering if someone knows what the problem is and if it is something i could fix it myself.

Drive it for a short while and see if it goes out. If not, you might have a wheel sensor going bad. I had a similar problem (but my ABS light was on too) - see http://www.xoutpost.com/showthread.php?t=787

UC, thanks for the reply.
I did drive the car today (at least 20 Mi), but warning lights are still on. Looks like i have to drop off the car at the dealer.

Got the X back from Dealer today. :thumbup:
It was just a faulty brake fluid level switch. it took them 3 days to get the a $31 switch.
