Exhaust Trim Question
 

I am having Ractive T 815exhaust tips installed on my 2006 3.0L X5 with Sport Package tomorrow. I have removed the old chrome tips and the black plastic trim plate that surrounds the existing tips so the wide Ractive tips will fit.
Does anyone know the BMW OEM part number(s) for the 4.4L or 4.8L 2006 X5s thin plactic trim pieces? I beleive they are called Heat Protectors but in reality are just a thin black plastic trim piece that will fit where my original ones were. There is a right and a left side, each with a specific part number.

What are these ractive tips? What site are they on and how come you didn't go for the oem 4.6is tip? Many thanks

looks great man i was about to do this just 2 days ago but wasnt sure how i would like it. might just have changed my mind

Are your old protectors in good shape? If so, can I buy them?
