tow hitch and "getbmw parts out of business?"
 

Well I thought I found a source for the new tow hitch, apparently i can no longer find any. I looked on the getBmwparts.com page and then tried to email them to see if they have stock. Well there email address don't work????? Does anyone know how to get ahold of them?

I also called bloomfield and they are out of stock. If anyone knows of any location that has any I would greatly appreciate it. I don't want to order off that other site considering there email won't even work and they have no contact info.

I want to buy an x5 but before i do i want to order a hitch to make sure i have it. If I cant get one then I will need to keep my old truck :(

Yes I tried all those emails and they all bounced back. So strange. But now I just tried using my hotmail to contact them and it hasn't bounced back yet so maybe it is just my email won't send to that address so for weird reason.

Anyways im crossing my fingers, hopefully this one goes through. Sorry for the panic response if the only problem was my email being weird. It works for every other address I have ever emailed.

Let me know if you don't hear back and I'll get ahold of them through E46fanatics. Those guys are usually pretty quick.

When you do get a hold of them please post that info. Strange they have no phone number on that site. Since it is basically Tischer BMW did you just try calling up their parts department?

Although the hitches have been on backorder for nearly a year they are finally shipping again. I believe the dealer network is getting them in small doses and filling their back orders first. I finally found one last week after contacting numerous dealers and just installed it... I would think in a few weeks all the backorders will be filled and the standard order process of 1-3 days or so from your local dealer will be the norm again.
