Wheel repair
 

Are all BMW wheels powder coated? I recently bought an OEM rim off Ebay and there was flaking of the paint as a result of a chip. If it is a fake I will repair the original rim on my X5.

You can tell if it's OE BMW by looking at the back, it should say BMW there. Yes most are clear coated and it is not unusual for damage to the clear coat to result in flaking.

Thanks for the advice. I checked and it does have BMW written on it.
