dolphin is right ... and you will need the orange bulb for the LEDs, or silver bulb with the same base 7507

Whats the scoop on the Zomk LED tails vs. the Sonar ones? Are they one in the same? If not, any difference in quality?

You guys think these are bright enough for brake lights during the day?

Chris

Mine are Sonar and I guess they are the same offered by zomkspeed
As for brightness, yes they are very bright under the hot Saudi sun

5 Attachment(s)
- Silver bulbs installed at the tails (a lot of time to remove the sub box and return it back )
- Silver reverse bulbs installed with xenon color temp
- LED side markers installed (bimmian.com)

PICS ....

Very Nice Essam...I did the same as well last summer....

The Bimmian Led's and Invisibulbs for the reverse lights.....same effect as led reverse without the damn error code! :)

Does anyone know where to get the silver/chrome 7505 bulbs.?

I could'nt find any on ebay.....

And Essam.. Does it take a lot of effort to get the sub box out of the car.?

Essam Khafagi 05-03-2009 03:27 PM

Bulbs Bimmian Solaris InvisiBulbs Turn Signal Bulbs for BMW X5 SAV - 2000-2006 E53 they are much better than EAS which i have on my E46 ... make sure to choose the ultra bright edition

As for the sub box, yes it is not easy .. u have to remove the fuse holder and remove a plastic piece on the bottom of the trunk in order to get it out .. then putting everything back in place which includes re-doing the isolation and sound deading .. but of course the OEM sub is much easier to remove

Are there any difference in the socket of the 7507 and 7506 bulbs.?

Or is it just the color.?
