sell this car pronto..more problems are comming
it's a joke ! |
i hope its not the transmission last days of life :-( read out the error codes? hopefully it is something minor fix with the gear-shift itself, but not with the gears. If problems is actually with the gears itself than it will be very sad and expansive,in that case find cheap used transmission and put it in,rather than paying 7k to the delaer

I would get it checked out at the dealer or a trusted indy. chances are that it is a shift sensor that is worn out. last year I had my sensor replaced. If I recall correctly the sensor was about $350 and about 1.5 hrs labor... that is hopefully the culprit as it is the cheapest thing to fix when dealing with the tranny.
good luck. Zac |
SHIFT SENSOR......DIY.......

How many miles? Are there any drive-ability issues? It may just be a component like the DSC module or your trany may be on the way out. Could also be a combination of other components failing. I suggest having your dealer diagnose. Just weigh your options before falling for their "you need a new trany" pitch.
