HID Ligts

Hi...

I Have a 2005 X5 3.0 and I didn't get HID, now I regret not doing so...
I want to install HID on my car now, I was just wondering if someone could help me out and tell me exactly what parts I will need to install them and where I could buy them for the best price...

(From reading the HID Lighting Tutorial, I understand that I need the --D2S 4100K OEM bulbs by Philips) but exactly what else do I need to purchase...

Thank you in advance

do you want to retrofit the OEM lights or go with aftermarket ones??

for aftermarket, I'd recommend: xenonfactory.com

I've used them before for my MC lights; they rock.

Personally I always advocate the use of a projector setup when retrofitting HIDs. If your car has projectors for your stock halogens, then you could use our ProLumen HID kit which consists of 2 bulbs and ballasts. It is completely plug and play but whether you go with OEM or our aftermarket alternative, you will have to get the ECU flashed by the dealer to accept the lower voltage of the HID setup.
