Yep wheels are nothing to write home about.... i am thinking 22in Deep Chrome dish with Black Centres... But just money at momment is a little tight to be spending £1500 on wheels. Only way i can convince the mrs is when the tyres are shot on the ones i have. Also not sure if it will be a bit Pimp my Ride..... But thinking black centres will match the colour of the car :dunno: Will look for a pic of some i have in mind.

These ones
22" Range Rover Sport Discovery bmw x5 Alloy Wheels on eBay, also, Wheels with Tyres, Car Wheels, Tyres Trims, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 12-May-09 11:55:50 BST)

These were custom made... As i am from UK MIJ Performance removed rear boxes and fabricated the pipework and tail pipes.... Looks good for a 3.0d and to be honest does not sound like a rattly diesel. I was impressed with the sound of these. Fuel Economy went up to about 36mpg on motorway and 29mpg around town.

I agree; I love 132s, and have the same.
Maybe "titz wheels" didn't translate from
over here in the Colonies...an old high school
expression, (circa 1963), meaning cool, excellent, etc.

Fair play to ya, still think the rims look a little small on the x5. Only my opinion though :stickpoke

Maybe but to be honest they not look out of place and no diesel deposits get expelled onto the car due to be out a little more that say a 4.8i. It was the best option i think for a diesel to have the tail pipes coming through the bumpers. The look is what i wanted and i happy with it. Just saving up for my new Alloys but stilll undecided.

Hey Nick
Nice pic dude. Iam also looking to change the exhaust on my diesel.

What muffler did u actually end up getting?
Did u increase the diameter of the exhaust?

Cheers

X Foomph 08-17-2009 05:04 AM

Nice looking X you got there, very clean n tidy. Love that rear end look with 4.8 tips (on a diesel).
Gotta agree with MD & Bimmer Ese - leave the rims alone. They look great, awsome, sick, filthy, unreal and of course titz. Slightly biased over here, having the same rims myself

explicitdwk 08-17-2009 11:54 AM

looks great!
