I am leaning towards mine being drivetrain related - I have noticed lately that when I put the tranny into gear I hear a "clunk" sound in the front end.

ummmm, yes, i hear that too... u think it's related?

anyway, whatever it is, hope it won't cost us a lot :s

Usually I have good luck with the cars i purchase, and i take good care of them, so I rarely pay for major repairs... let's hope this luck doesn't turn around with my X... 15K in few years: holly S***!!

power steering could be the culprit. I believe there is a PS hose that runs across the front of the vehicle parallel with the radiator. that is the lowest point and the drip will drop right there. unless it is towards the middle of the truck than you better check the tranny

A hunch would be the PS hose. Remove the bottom cover and inspect the PS hose .
