Steering wheel controls not working
 

I just got my x5 a month ago 2004, 4.4i, and all the controls were working, now I discovered yesterday I can no longer control my deck with the volume or track buttons. Seems strange.

I'm wondering if there is a btn I clicked to disable this? Or is this a common problem or easy fix?

Also cruise and heater works fine.

Did you click the R/T button? If so, click it again. I don't have bluetooth in mine and whenever I click the R/T button it prevents me from using the volume controls.

perfect I'll try that. I believe I tried clicking that button but I'll try again. I had no clue what that was for? What is it for? Is it to specially cut off those controls?

It alternates between the radio and telephone.
