Radio Display LED's Not Working
 

I have a 2003 X5 3.0L and the LED's in the radio display are starting to not work. The X5 has only 37500 miles and the battery is 3 years old and putting out 12.58 volts. Does anybody have any idea what is going on and can it be repaired without having to replace the whole radio display?

Is it dead pixels?
My 02 got dead pixels and it cost $800 in parts+labor to fix, but I'm not sure exactly what they did to fix it, sorry.

Can you tell me what parts were needed to fix the problem and were did you get them from?
