the headlight covers for a 01 X5? I want to add angel eyes but I want to either get new headlights or replace the covers (the clear lenses) that you have to bake or heat off.

Unfortunately they are not available separately... My best suggestion would be to take the lenses to a body shop and have them sanded down past all the outer lens funk (mine started at 400 grit and went down to 3000 grit) then properly cleaned and sprayed with a good clear coat. I saw mine at this stage before they were smoked, and they looked spankin new. And the automotive clear coat will last many years vs the "restoration kits" that start looking like crap again by turning yellowish/clowdy.

And I'd do this with the lenses off so you can use that time to do all the mods you want to the internals of the headlight. Just maybe tape up the inside of lens to keep the overspray out. I didn't and had to clay bar the inside of the lenses.

OK Thanks!!! Sounds like a lot of work..... Have to find a bodyshop that can handle this then....

I took it to a shop where I know the guys, was only charged $50.
