Very sad!!!

I've passed/met several X5s on the road recently and not a single wave/greeting was returned by the other driver:(. I miss being in Germany:D where everyone greeted everyone else.

every time I see an X with a little bit of originality with customizing I give a thumbs up.

I give a thumbs up to all nicely modded cars but they tend to think I want to race them. So they floor it.

Hahaha that only happened to me when I'm giving them a thumbs up if they're not driving the same car as I am.

I don't think I have ever seen another BMW driver wave at another one unless they own an awesome e30 or 2002. The only group of cars I see that wave at one another other than Harley owners are Mini owners.

My parents bought a Mini when I was in college and I had it for a week when my 5-er was getting the Dinan stuff installed and every Mini I saw the owner waved to me.

mmm maybe its just me but in general most BMW owners seem to stop and let me get infront of them =] i like that... i like that alot and i am starting to let ppl cut in lane when i see its a nice bmw. also my block has 3 or 4 other X5's one Red and another blue... i think i should print out a flyer or somethign to put on there car promoting x5world anyone got any i can print?

yeah bimmer owners do show each other courtesy i find, more so when its modded nicely... however there are some really bad bimmer drivers out there... either too aggressive or drive like they drive corolla's

LOL! Jeff..that is so true man!!

I see dudes sweat my ride all the time... I'll give them the head nod at best......bu then they want to race me.......it's always the sleepers that pay you the most compliments.....like at the gym the other day......guy comes up to me and says..."i've seen some X5's, but not like this"......then ofcourse I start going down the grocery list of mods.....

Nowadays..everyone is out for themselves and who has the "hotter ride"........

I was sitting in traffic on I95 in New haven CT- the long warf area.....typical after work congestion.....this is where I91 merges with I 95 in southern ct... so - i'm sitting there doing stop and go and out of no where a 2002/3 3.0 i black...with two 20 year old chicks cuts right in front of me......................eventually I got around them and dropped her into 4th.....u know with the Dinan and all I was "ghost"......but they kept coming and coming... funny....point is I was like a target for them.....

wierd peeps man!
