steering wheel squeak
 

Hi, I have a annoying problem, when I turn my steering wheel it makes a squeaking sound as if the two materials that connect the steering wheel to the dash and wheel are rubbing? If I pull the steering wheel out (Toward me while driving) it does not make the sound. Kind of a weird and annoying problem, wondering if there's a fix.

Mine turned out to be totally different which I fixed it by refreshing the steering fluid.

I have the same issue. The squeak can only be heard with the ac and radio off. The shop foreman actually pointed it out on a test drive for another issue. There is a green plastic bushing that dries out and requires the removal of the entire dash. These are the foreman's word so I take it at face value. I still have not had the time to have it fixed.

Good god, the entire dash... woooeee, might have to just deal with the squeak hope its not ruining something.
