i seen 2004 x5 4.8is with 80k for 20k around my area being sold private...




if you want low mile x5 you will need to go with a 4.4(you can get a 2004 4.4 with 40k miles for $16-17k)

never do a salvage ! that one is riding pretty low haha

anyway if you are watching pennies the mpg on the 4.6 alone doesnt make any sense.

good look finding a good, low mile 4.6 for 17k.... keep in mind when things break or fall off you will spend a lot of $. If you pull off a 17ker i would bet fixing it will bring the price right back up to where they generally sell for or more...
