Is this a lot to be charged?

Hi Guys
Took my car to bmw and they gave me a good size list of things to do. I took the car to a indy who was a bmw specialist, he said half the things they listed were fine and that bmw are told to upsell things when the car is in, for instance £60 for a wiper. Anyway he said the following needed to be done and charged me £370 ($600) all in (5 hours labour and parts)

2 x Thrust arm bushes
1 x Hub Nut
1 x CV Boot replacement
5 hours labour

Does this sound like a reasonable price?

Thanks

Yes that does sound reasonable, at least compared to what dealers/shops charge in the States.

I agree...in this area the labor would be $600.

I don't believe BMW calls it an upsell. it is called 'Peace of mind'. You do get something for your money, but do you really need it?
