Yellow E53

Taste this one:genius:

it takes a lot of guts to do that..but not my cup of tea - yellow cab looking..

its cool. id like to see a 4.8 e53 look like that

is this one of the rejected vehicles from Baywatch? It actually doesn't look that bad but the shade of yellow doesn't look right. If it were a darker shade, like Chevy's yellow for the Vette maybe, and a 4.8is would look interesting if done right. At least it's different!

I have the urge to eat some cheddar cheese.

Maybe if the body cladding was painted too, but i'm into monochromatic finishes anyways, so I don't even like the black cladding on my white X either...so i'm screwed either way ;)

I almost liked it until you made the "cab" reference. Now, all I see is taxi cab! :yikes:

on the listen plates u should put " PEEL ME" haha

I agree that a richer yellow would look better... but get a load of that abnormally large bull bar in the front with the huge running board bars!

It looks like the yellow from the E36 M3.

Get rid of the chrome bull bar and chrome rock rails, add some black wheels, and I'd take it.

IMHO, if he installed spacers (25mm/10mm) + style 87 wheels, added the extended flare arches, lost the rhino bar and added running board, it wouldn't look bad - maybe some euro clears too...........:popcorn:

This is the result of our downturn economy, more CEOs are becoming CAB drivers.

the original poster pic has some pretty serious bull bars.. i agree the 4.8/4.6 look might work.. OEM running boards etc..

DSM - that yellow one you posted looks pretty good with that kit and wheels.. at least they didnt go yellow..

Lose the chrome, add '87s and IS spoilers...or an aero kit. I like yellow Vettes, Lambos and M3s.... just not sure I would buy one for myself. Even Ford has the Tonka series 150!

X5's can't pull off yellow, and definitely not that shade.

Well, at least the car doesn't have any decals, graphics,or stickers applied on the body. I imagine this car to have been a truck brought to shows with a ton of graphics applied throughout the body as a form of advertisement.

This car belonged to the girl therefore has been painted desirable colour.

To itself I never such colour would take... and if took yellow X, it's will be phoenixyellow or dakaryellow colour with 21" rims and aerodynamic pack, as you say.
