Broadmonitor Slightly Dim
 

Odd problem here.
2001 model retrofitted with Nav 3 and widescreen display, software version 3-1/63

screen is slightly dim.

I have tried to set it above mid point on brightness under 'Set' but it reverts each time I switch off.
Lights dimmer knurled button is set to full up and that does indeed increase the brightness a little but only when lights are on.

Any sugestion on:
How to force the display to stay on brighter setting?
