Yes if the vehicle still is in warranty.

They wanted over $3k/yr to extend the warranty which I declined.

To follow up. Had the wheels aligned and they are now set at the limit for adjustment.

Before camber was -2.9* in the rear both sides.
After alignment they are -1.9* left, 2.0* right.

Spec is 1.5* - 2.2*

BMW said they weight each corner with 60 lbs and put 40 lbs in the trunk prior to aligning. I took it to Wheel Works and they told me there instrument is set up different than BMW and doesn't need the weights. They also said Mercedes recommends weighing the corners and having a full tank when doing alignments.

Wheel Works wanted $107 for the alignment and BMW wanted $250 (normally $400+).

As far as the headlights pointing higher than they should, BMW said the Xenon are self adjusting and would self correct. I'll find out tonight.

i hope "rear-end sagging" doesn't happen to either of my girls...:nervous:

After measuring all four fenderwells to the bottom of the wheels, it looks like they are all exactly the same at 27.5". The headlights are self adjusting according to BMW service, so having them point higher might be something entirely different than the rear sagging. :dunno:

They self adjust to the suspension being compressed, but there is still manual adjustment screws bor the base setting. You can go in an empty parking lot or somewhere you can aim at the side of a building at night from 20 feet away and adjust them properly with a philips screw driver. The adjustments are accessible from the top with the hood open.
