I broke my jack.
 

I broke my jack today and need a new one. I don't want to pay $136 from the dealers. I am wondering if this would work.

I know your post is over 2 years old. I'm intersted in getting an X5 scissor style jack. I have found one at an auto recycler. I wasnt to use it on my E90 335D. I like it as it has the long handle so I can use it way underneath for central jacking.
