BMWCar mag have now done the article on my car. It's the October 2009 issue, buy it for a decent quality read. Scans attached.

Why the ACS badging?>

Great writeup, but did you know your steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car? :D
I say you throw oon a supercharger and give it back to them for another go at it! I did notice one "typo" though, they said "let the x-drive system do its thing" but the pre-facelift E53s didn't have it yet... |

Interior alloy pedals, handbrake and shifter knob in Titanium to match the rest of the trim. Really disliked the wheels and the ACS front panel makes the car look like a truck. the rest of the ACS mods are a simple colour coding job. I'm unimpressed with the ACS styling mods on any cars, and the new wheels are awful over the last few years, really since the E46. I am not surprised BMW parted company with them and went it alone. I pump my tyres up at an ACS dealer so I have genuine Schnitzer air in my tyres, it handles better that way. X5Girl, xxx |

My personal preference to planned/controllable oversteer vs understeer makes it ok for me. I'd just prefer the x-drive setup from the new X5M/X6M that has more rear bias to help quell the understeer and allow some oversteer on the track. |
