SOON to be new owner! 2005 4.8is!!
Flying to Atlanta from Florida to drive it home tomorrow!
LeMans blue with NAV. 36K miles. Going from a Viper (Sunday car) and my Titan crew cab (daily driver) to ONE car. I think it can be the best of both worlds!! I have owned other BMW's... 2002 M3 SMG 2005 M3 6 speed with a full Active Autowerke supercharger system (and a bunch of other stuff) that made 450 whp. I can't wait to spend 400+ miles getting used to it tomorrow!! I have learned a lot about them from this site! THANKS!!! |
Enjoy it & welcome to the X5 Family :)
|
First off, congrats!!
Are you buying it from an individual or dealer?? |
Individual. He is a car enthusiast...Has / had quite a few high end cars...Did a Carfax, etc.
I tend to be trust worthy person...So far I have been OK...Fingers crossed! |
it's going to be hard from going to a viper to a X5... X5 has a lot of power, but its no comparison to the Viper.
|
I put less than 2K miles on the Viper in a year...I never drive it. That was even TRYING to drive it. I put about 25K miles / year on the Titan. So really a comparison to the Titan...I know it is NO Viper, but it should be at somewhat fun!
|
Good choice of the 4.8is over the 4.4i. Congrats.
Remember your camera to document the trip and the X. |
congrats! i hope you have fun!!!
|
Very nice!!!! I have the same exact one and just bought it as well. It's an amazing SAV. Where in Florida are you from?
|
Thanks! I am pretty excited. Never driven one. Only SUV I drive sometimes is the wifes Pilot! LOL
I live in Eustis...Office in Lake Mary. Outside of Orlando. |
