NYC Area - Anyone bake my headlights + AE... Will Compensate

So... after going to the Mini-Fall Meet, I've decided to bake my headlights. I have a '01 3.0 so I know my headlights can be opened. Unfortunately, I am too nervous use my oven (Not sure if it even works) and I also have no tools.

So... the plan would be, I would purchase the CCFL rings from ebay... drive to your place and do this bad thing.

From what I've read, this isn't a hard mod to do, but I will of course pay for your time (no idea what the going rate is.... :dunno:) but certainly beer would be involved !

*Mods.... not sure if this belongs in "WTB Forum..." but I figured this seems more of a E53 thing... I guess it can be seen as "buying a service?"

let me know how this goes, i'm very interested in this mod. still haven't started with mods, not even after 6 years! i don't want to screw things up, so i want to have someone do it for me, like you(and compensate them for their time, of course).

To be honest with you its best you just go on eBay and purchase one of the good headlights, such as this one or this one.

I would certainly debate the term "good" on these headlights... take a read at this thread and you'll find there is no definitive answer to how "good" these lights are

Lastly... if the CCFL halo's costs $50 that people have spoken very highly of, why would I get $250 headlights that people have found very debatable? :dunno: GOOD plug and play headlights, if you've seen richirich's, costs A LOT more than $250

Surely will. Since you're in the NYC area, perhaps we can find someone to do it at the same time . Twice the compensation!
