$1k to Spend on the X, what to mod??

Hi All,

Got an extra $1k to spend on the X. Wondering what to change/mod. $1K doesnt go a long ways nowadays. Any suggestions??

I have a stock '06 3.0i, in Grey with Black leather interior, non-dsp, with nav, premium & cold weather package, xenon headlights.

I have installed the following:

Invision dvd headrests
Custom Sub/Amp
Intravee II
MP3 CD changer
Ipod Interface
NavTools VSM
WD TV Media Player
Reverse Cam

Now what to get next:

BSW Speakers
Aluminum Running boards
Painted Front Skid Plate, Rear Diffuser (Dont know if i need new bumpers for these??)
Clear Third Break Light
LED Tailights

Any suggestions??

Skid plate, HID fogs, (if you have HID. Headlights) you will have a bunch left over.

Thanks for the input skiboats

I forgot about the HID fogs. Ordering them now, getting the ones from khoalty. Should I go with the 35W or 55W?? Just verifying, the '06 X use H11 bulbs for the fogs right?

Also, is there a big color difference betweem the the stock 4300K and the 6000K hid lights? I like the white hid lights, but not if they have that blueish tint to them. Might change the stock bulbs on the headlights too, those are d2s bulbs right?

Mine are 55w. I have projecter fogs, very low cutoff. Got the kit from HIDNY.

Did you have any issues with codes or flickering of the fogs??

Upgraded brakes maybe?

How about preventative maintenance?

- Change the belts
- Flush coolant
- Flush brake oil (Done every 2 years)
- New spark plugs

With the money left over get the car professionally detailed, just my $0.02:thumbup:

with an 06 you won't need the belts, coolant or spark plugs (unless it is crazy high mileage). brake fluid will be part of included maint, so you won't have to do that for another year or two...
