6 Disc changer install into an 01??

Hi Everyone,

If i have the single business CD player is it possible to just "bolt in" a 6 disc changer? I'd like to add it if possible and if the pre wire harness is all set to go. Do I need the premium audio to do this?

All x5s are prewired for the changer (sits in the back in the 01s)

You have it all prewired in the back next to the amp in the rear left (Drivers side) panel. Simply get your 6 cd changer and plug in it.

ALL US models are, there are some X5's in canada without cd changer prep.
