Pull out cargo area

I have noticed in my searches that some of the 4.8is's have a pull out cargo area and some don't. That was an actual option? Most for sale don't mention it, you just can tell from the pictures. Do any of you have it? Is it useful?

you're correct; it's an option. I love it; especially if you need to unload/load big items. There's no need to reach and pull. If you're looking to purchase one; it's very visible from pictures.

I have a pull out floor. Really don't use it, my reach is pretty good to where it is more work for me to pull out the floor than reach back there.

Good to see another PDX'er!!

option on all x5's $400, not worth the rattles.

Ok thanks.

not only on 4.8, I have it on 3.0
I sometimes use it for heavy stuff, comes handy... Doesn't rattle with me...

Once my friend told me that it looks like the funeral cars, where you carry the cofin... they are equiped with similar trays... oh i hate it since then :( ...

I have it. Kinda wish I didn't. It does add a rattle. The car is otherwise tight and rattle free. Oh well. Turn up the stereo a bit I guess

But - it is handy every once in awhile when I have really heavy band equipment in there.

so close to a wash, but overall I would rather not have it. It also might take up a little bit of space too.

Not many of 'em have it. I have a client who's had 20+ X5's and only one so far has been equipped with the roll out luggage floor.
It's got some cool factor though. Never drove it enough to notice the rattles, but if the owner here say it's part of the deal, then no doubt it is.

Ok thanks guys.

I love mine and use it all the time. I also have a bad back so reaching is a b$%^h! If you put anything of weight on it like even 10-15lbs it doesn't rattle.
