I had the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza all season tires on my 2001 X5 3.0 and also on my 2004. They come in both 17" and 18" as well. They have been great all season tires and are very quiet. We've run the equivalent on our 323i; and where we had tires before from continental and pirelli that got chewed up in 20,000 miles or less these did not.

I ran them for 20,000 miles on the 2001 before I sold it 2 years ago and the new owners still have them. The ones on my 2004 look barely worn after 18,000 miles. I use my X5 to travel to the ski hill and I've not run winter tires and it handles quite well. My .02cents. I think they are overlooked and are a great tire.

It isn't quite time for tires on my X5 yet, but I'm going with the Kumho Road Venture APT KL51 when they need replaced next spring. They are highly rated on Tire Rack, and they're very reasonable in price.

I've had Michelin Cross Terrains and Goodyear Forterras on my Yukon, and I recently put the Kumho Road Ventures on it - and I'm very impressed. Very quiet ride, excellent in wet weather also.

Oh...by the way, I bought them from a local tire shop, not Tire Rack. They are significantly cheaper on Tire Rack, but by the time you pay shipping charges and then pay a local tire shop to mount and balance them, it's a wash as far as cost.
