The cut-off beam pattern doesn't look correct and would blind on-coming traffic. It looks as though it was designed for right-hand drive countries.

Naz24 10-25-2009 05:01 PM

they look great!

echeng 10-25-2009 11:25 PM

StefX 10-26-2009 08:46 AM

Looking good!! actually thinking bout getting those headlights!
couple of q´s..

Can you have the halos ON by themselves? or do you need to have the low beams on?

thanks , you can have halos on as DRL as one member on here has his but my mechanic could not figure out how to do it so he hooked it up to come on with low beams
i got them from ebay seller simon ,ebay store fishcake, look in group buy section , we tried to do group buy but could not get 10 members to buy.
reg. ebay listing price is $629.00 , group buy for only headlights without any bulbs was gonna be $480.00 , but if you email simon @ [email protected] & let him know you are a xoutpost forum member then you will get headlights + 8000k xenon bulbs + chrome turn markers shipped for $550.00, thats what i paid.

you should get the tails they are alot nicer than stocks , i had to get capasitors for them cause they flicker.
& you should get the headlights too , they are bright in day time , the angel eyes has 60 LED's in each ring.

Yes, I have the same lights. A simple adjustment and anas can lower the driver side low beam, and raise the passenger side low beam and it will be perfect. Most gas stations who also do inspection can help with the ideal level with one of those measurement walls.

I like the idea of them angel eyes being LED, but I'd really wanna see them in person so I can compare them to what I've seen compared to CCFL :( Pictures are nice, but variations between camera can make things look better or worse than they really are in person.

I have to agree w/ DLK about the beam pattern shining on your Ridgeline. It's definately a v-pattern w/ the left side being more horizontal but still moving upwards.

The LED tail lights are nice also, but I don't like how the hatch lenses have a white horizontal line through them, but then the same matching line isn't on the actual taillights...kinda makes it look like you mismatched different taillights. I'm still hoping the someone starts making a CELIS style taillights like on the E70 X5 to fit the E53's.

yes the pictures doesn't do the headlights justice, especially my camera its old & kinda missed up!, they do look a lot better in person, LED AE's looks alot better than CCFL
& i know what you talking about as far as the taillights i didnt really like that either at first but after i installed them i loved the look ;)

m5james 10-27-2009 01:30 PM

Yeah, camera can enhance or ruin things. I installed a 1 piece headlight kit on my buddies E38 750iL that is all chrome w/ intergrated angel eyes. The pics from my phone made the it look cool and bright, but you can hardly tell they're even on once it's outside in natural light.

Can you see the individual LED's when they're lit, or is that just because of the camera automatically adjusting for the lighting? Hopefully ebay will start having LED angel eyes for the same price range as CCFL's.

anas 10-27-2009 01:38 PM

yes i can see AE's in day time , they are bright , each ring has 60 LED's, there is 2 other members on here that got the same headlights from the same seller, hopefully they will post better pics with better camera.

thanks, yes those are made just for X5's with xenon & auto level , they dont come with ballasts, you have to use the ones off of your X , & the good thing = no error msg..

If you would have taken the time to read the thread, you'd see on post #9 the ebay sellers store name. Slow down next time.

mtX5 11-05-2009 09:17 PM

good lookin lights ;)

i think i need to fix my beam pattern to. but they can easily be adjusted as it says so on the headlight as well.

And to you guys wondering how bright these AEs are in the daylight, just imagine CCFL a few times brighter and there you go. These things are awesome!

you can't open those headlights up. but you already have angel eyes. what you should look into are the AngeliBrights. i think they cost around $300 but they will make your AEs alot brighter. i think a member has them for sale on the for sale section of the forum.

antochat 11-05-2009 11:22 PM

AngeliBrights...got it! Thanks

anas 11-06-2009 11:36 AM
