2003 X5 3.0i E53 Xenon Low Beam Headlight Shot
 

My drivers side low beam headlight went out.
Took it to dealer and they said they need to replace the headlamp ignitor module and it would cost $550.00 for the part. This is crazy I told them.
Is there a cheaper way to take care of this problem?
The paperwork from BMW shows an FP number is 63-12-8-386-708 and description is control unit xenon.
Any help would be appreciated.
Car came from factory with xenon lights and projectors (I think thats what they are called, looks like a lens) on low beams

Search ebay for your need.....Is much cheaper.
