Welcome bro! My suggestion would be to get the 4.6is aero kit, and aluminum running boards. It will totally change the look of your X! :)

Do you have pics of your X5 with the 35% tint? I was thinking of doing mine too. But it looks like X5 already comes tinted a little. Does anyone know in detail what percentage tint X5 comes with?

You can buy the aero-kit pre-painted at www.bimmerfreak.com. The owner is a great guy. :)

Also, the X5 tint is 35% from factory. So just tint your front two windows 35%. (I recommend Huper Optik, or Madico tint, both have lifetime warranty, and are non-metallic) :)

I got the replica ACS pedals off ebay. As for the clearbra, i used www.xpel.com

Hmm haven't taken any pics with the tints yet. Come to think of it, I should take some pics. Yea i believe factory tints are 35%. I also tinted my front windows 35%. Still thinking about going darker as 35% is still too light for me.

First of all i do not recommend the aero kit. Check out some pics of cars with it on. If u do get it then u are gonna need at least 20 rims and larger tires ( u're gonna need those anyways) I have seen an aero kit on a red model and it looked okay BUT the best one i saw was on a blue x5 where they didn't paint the running boards or the front underpiece- they left them gray and the complimenting colors looked awesome.

I would suggest instead the 4.6 body kit instead, there is a article in the article section on what is involved.

My exterior mods include the
body kit
billy boat exhaust
pin stripping
20 oem chrome rims - the chrome is awesome on the titanium silver.
315 tires in front 275 rear
For additional pics do a search under "pin stripping"

i would also not recommend the aluminum running boards on a silver x5, i considered them and they are nice but i think the effect on a silver x5 is not as pronounced as on a darker colored x5 or even white
