Help Need - Anyone ever replace intake gaskets

Has anyone here replaced intake gaskets on a 4.4? If so, when you had the manifold off was there oil on the underside (inside)? I had the separator lines replace last year, so I'm not sure what it could be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
