Alternative Key Recharge
 

I've red about how the battery gets weak, and how the recharging mecanism can't recharge it as quick as required...

But instead of replacing the key, is there a way we can charge the key at home overnight?? someone talked about the phone charger... was not that clear how.. can he (forgot who) or someone else elaborate on an alternative to recharge the key??

Mine is just getting weak.. sometimes it works (after a drive) and sometimes not (in the morning)

A dealer once charged mine for me somehow, free of charge :D ...i'll look for the invoice to see exactly what they did.

The person who have charged the key thru the via- home phone base..... That was Richirich:thumbup:

Okey!! So come one richirich, tell us if you have worked on your recharging techniques and issued some guidelines to DIY!! :) ... is any DC current passing near the key able to recharge it? how to put it on the phone charger? were you short circuiting it with the key?...
