rev on its own
 

this does not occur often, but it does when i start the truck. i will start the truck and after sitting for about 15seconds or so the truck will just rev on its own. its as if the gas pedal was surpressed for a second...any ideas?

Check /clean TB.
Maybe a partially stuck Butterfly on TB!When that happens,blip the pedal ...should sort it!

The same thing is happening with my truck. I am bring it in next week to have the work done. I'll let/inform you know what the dealership find.

Sounds like a cold start valve / temp sensor issue
