HID Headlights

Ok so I have the nice hid headlights and I would like to keep them. However I have the worst looking lenses in the world I think. So what to do. I like the headlights on ebay but I would like to keep my hid lights because I do not want to down grade.

Polish them.
Yes, the plastic lenses. (search)
I have lighty rubbed in a cutter (rubbing compound) then polishing compound. MASK WELL.

There are ebay lights that come w/ angel eyes and everything, that work perfectly w/ your stock HID's. Search for HID threads.

YOu can swap my HID backed headlights with angel lights in them for your OEM non modiefd HID and extra cash from your side. PM me if interested or look FS treads.

Tape off the painted areas, and then wetsand the lenses if they're really bad. Proceed with a good rubbing compound or polish. I use a rotary buffer with a wool pad. If you don't have one of those, try a powerball polishing ball with some 3M Finesse it II polish, or some Blue Magic metal polish. Both will work well and you're not going to polish through the lens with anything. Plastic polishes just don't seem to have the power you need for these lenses. They seem to be more for soft convertible top windows and such. Plastic lenses are much harder and polish a lot like your paint would.

Sobi's headlights look great, and the angel eye install is top notch.
