Best way to have TV on motion

Hi.What is best way to have a TV Playing while i am moving? I am looking for something that is easy to install and not much expensive.My car is 5 series (E39) but it would probably be the same with the X5

Replace AC Unit w/ TV. Voila.

I bought a TV in motion module from TV ON NAV amd the RCA in/out leads,a few years ago...This is still working fine.
I had no idea scanner version 6.5 could enable TV in motion?What scanner do you mean?You are not referring to Carsoft ,are you?This wont even do the auto-lock feature.....

i have both 1.36 scanner and the carsoft 6.5 and they both cant do it .

What is those things? are they software and if they are how do you connect it to the car?

If you Google'' Resler'' it will tell you all about it.
In the Uk we can activate tv in motion and voice recognition with this bit of kit.
I have one and it works great.

hi what year x5 did you use the scanner on and was it the bmw 1.36 scanner ? I tried it on a 2002 model and it did not work .

I will repeat RESLER . it is a small piece of kit, one end takes the 3 pin plug from your cd player(in the boot) and a usb lead to your laptop.(This accesses the ibus) a programme is purchased and the whole lot costs about £60 UK pounds.
My car is a 2002 4.4 sport. and I have enabled tv in motion and telephone voice recognition. it will also change a reverse camera mode from NTSC to PAL and vice versa.
I have done all 3 things and have done the same on another 3 X5's upto 2005.

You MUST do an internet search for RESLER it IS ALL THERE. and will tell you how to buy.
