I've had my Toyo Proxis II's for just over a year now and they have been quiet and wearing well. I had only had some limited snow feedback until this last week. Needless to say they have done very well in shallow and deep snow. The deepest that I had to trudge through was about a foot and the X did great with the Proxis. Since I don't hang turns and the X serves as my winter car I did opt for the siping so that may be aiding me in snow and ice traction. Hope that helps.

Exactly!Price and the tread pattern did it for me:D

The NT05 is more of a high performance/racing type tire that isn't as good for normal street use. I plan on getting the dueler HP sports myself next.

yeah those nittos done look very X5ish. either go with the Dueler HP sports or the Toyos. i dont have any experience on the bridgestones, so i cant judge them. but so far i love the Toyos (i take them off in the winter) but my friend has them on all seasons and they seem to be working out pretty well for him
