Depo Lights, LED taillights, Blackout Kidney Grilles, and a (finally) clean X

I had the depos and led tail lights on for awhile and the matte black kidney grilles are still pretty new. I finally got the X5 the first good car wash in a long time. So I decided to take some pictures with my new nikon d3000. Hope you guys like em!

Essam Khafagi 12-13-2009 04:55 AM

Finally LED tails ;) ... so what do you think about them now?!

How much did u get the depos? Any link? Do they have the option of OEM looking AEs?

mtX5 12-13-2009 05:08 AM

the Depos can be found on the GB section of this forum. many members have ordered them. they are about $550 shipped. they are very high quality and the AEs are very bright. the seller has only one option for AE color for now. and yeah essam i'm loving the led taillights haha

powers1 12-13-2009 05:20 AM

Perfect!Very, very nice and very clean! The more I see the Depos HL ,then more I am convinced that they are the best option for the 2002/03 guys thats cant open the HLs to fit AEs.
What tail lights do you have and were they just "plug and play"??
The fogs also look great. What bulbs you got in there?:)

x5mikei 12-13-2009 11:22 AM

the tail lights are the ebay led tail lights from Zomk Speed. they are plug and play for 02 and before, but i think 03 and after may require a capacitor.

the foglights are 6000k

where did you get your depo lights?

did you have factory xenon to begin with? or this depo light upgraded yours from halo to xenon?

plug and play if you have OEM HIDs and auto leveling. the angel eyes will need some wiring though but nothing crazy. the harness and everything is included.

check the group buy section of this forum for a link/info of the seller.

i did have factory xenons and auto leveling. so i used my OEM xenon with 4300k bulbs, and the angel eyes (halos) are 60 LED rings.

not sure what you mean by 'halo to xenon'

DocMike 12-14-2009 10:04 PM

OEM HID?
