Interesting post here!I have the oem analogue TV Tuner and looking at a way to have it upgraded to TDT Digital before I loose all channels!
Is there a BMW upgrade for this or will I just have a "dead" TV tuner:(

the jokes on you, the european x5's can be equipped with TV from the factory. the video module takes the place the Navigation computer to generate the RGB signals to display on the monitor. If the vehicle is then equipped with Navigation, then the Navi generates the menu for the the On Board Monitor, and then the option Television shows if the TV module is communicating on the K-Bus. Euro x5s can come with option 602, and with out 609.

I have a eclipse navigation on my dd and I used to have analog signal tv, anyone know a descent digital antenna that I could put in my car without breaking the bank.
