OEM Ipod Connection Question
 

I just bought a new X5 and it came with an OEM Ipod connection. I'm wondering how I can select playlists from the menu. Based on the BMW manual that came with the car, I'm suppossed to be able to select 6 playlists from the 1-6 buttons on my Nav display, but it doesn't work, so I'm limited to whatever starts playing when I start the car.

Does anone know how to select playlists, and does this OEM connection not allow for text display?

I don't have the OEM adapter but I believe you have to create BMW specific playlists following a naming convention:

Is there a way to have both the CD changer and an IPod set up in my 04 X5 with nav?
