headlights off --- trunk opens
 

Hello

I have a little problem on my E53. When i turn off the headlights the trunk opens ???
and my PDC is working not all the time.

I have some problem on my electrical system ?

hey, i had the same. your relay switch (not sure if thats the proper name) but the button on your trunk that opens up your trunk lid, needs to be replaced. its a whole mechanism with the exterior plastic part that is replaced.

it could be the switch or have you washed you back window lately, specifically with the built in sprayer? water/washer fluid can get down inside around where the latch button and license plate lights are and corrode the connectors a little bit. mine was doing that when i turned off the lights, but once everything dried out it is back to working fine.
