Link between ABS & worn stabilizer bushings ??

2005 4.8 - Last week started to get " knocking " on front left suspension. I suspect it it a worn tie bar bushing but haven't had a chance to get under and have a look yet. Now it seems the ABS is activating on a hard stop / smooth, dry pavement. Can this be due to worn bushings or do I have a bigger issue?
