warranty question
i'm having a code issue with my car weeks after doing a NAV retrofit. car is asking for code and won't start. car was taken to dealer and they can't seem to crack the code issue. they called and said they'll have to "start taking things apart" in the morning. here's my question....my warranty should still be intact since i retrofitted with all oem parts right? and if something is found to be wrong with say the 16:9 screen or MKIV computer (both purchased used), who will be responsible? :tsk:
shouldn't the dealer be able to extract my code without taking things apart? does anyone know which piece of hardware stores the security code for the car??????
