HELP PLEASE NOISE FROM REAR
 

Hi all,
The wifes e53 x5 started making a strange noise this morning. When turning right eg: when turning from a main road in to a side road. It makes a rubbing noise from the o/s rear almost like the wheel is rubbing somewhere. It is not a constant noise, just does it the once quickly then seems ok, but will try and get to an empty car park later and run a few figure 8s to check. Its all ok on a straight no noises or vibrations. Ive had a quick look and no play in the wheel bearing and from what I can see quicly from underneath looks ok nothing insecure. Could it be handbrake shoes insecure? Although I do not hear any grinding/squeaking noises.
Has anyone else had this problem? What was the outcome. Obviously a bit concered as We normally used this as the baby carraige.
Any advice/ pointers would be great.
