need more power
 

i have a x5 4.4 im looking for some more power ,what can i used to get more power out of my truck

Headers
Dinan High Flow Throttle body
Chip
Cold air intake
Dinan High Flow Intake Manifold
SuperCharger

Or buy a 4.8, or X5M

Could that be anymore of a generic question? How much money do you have to spend?

FYI...the $$Dinan$$ intake manifold is nothing more than a 4.4 non-VANOS intake manifold.

i would say a proper inspection, new plugs, new air filter, fuel injector cleaner(techron), a supercharger will give you the best gains because the x is a very heavy vehicle. you can always trade it in for a 4.8.

Don't forget weight loss, lose the seats, go with lighter wheels, replace your battery with a motorcycle battery. Ah, nevermind!

Yeah, I keep telling myself I need to lose weight to make my bike faster...I just got a 50 shot of NOS instead. I feel skinnier already :popcorn::beerchug:

to lose weight, Drive after hitting the WC... take your clothes off, and have your hair shaved...

Unless you go forced induction there isn't anything you can do that will net real horsepower for the dollar. You'll spend thousands to see about 20hp....that blows.
