Anybody know what it means, i read it in a post somewhere( *Note that if the “Reset” or “Re” does not flash, then you have not met the minimum consumption level and cannot reset.)? I followed the routine to reset and “Reset” does not flash on my 2004 x5 and so I cannot reset the inspection message, does this mean I have to wait till I hit a certain mileage to be able to reset this currently am on like 39100 miles….thanks in advance

I think you should reach the orange bar on the service interval lights...

ta for reply, thing is i have reached orange bar, and underneath the word INSPECTION is displayed, I did the trick holding down odometer adjuster whilst turning key to 0 and it does get to reset and SIA -7 I think it said, but no flashing, hmmmm
