4.6is and CCV

I saw a picture of the CCV system on a 4.4i on a new thread and realized that I don't see anything like that on my 4.6is engine.

Does the 4.6is have a CCV system, and it is prone to failure in the same was as the 4.4i? Or did perhaps Alpina engineer a better solution?

Fixed

Got it - thanks. Interesting. So for the 4.4i and 3.0 engines, the fix is a new set of hoses and valves. for the 4.6 engine all they do is install a heated blanket thingy around the external hoses, but no change to the valve system itself.

So what I'd like to know is - is the original M62 CCV design less prone to this failure mechanism? I have not seen a post where a 4.6is model had this issue, although that could also be because so few were made and probably very few of them live hard lives out in the cold.

People on the board have reported M62's with this issue.
