2002 X5 steering rack
 

hit a pot hole, bent a right frt strut. Car is at Austin BMW estimate is $7K including some other work and new set of tires. Is there anyone with experience installing these parts on tis site? I may take the small amount the Insurance is able to pay and do it myself. After parts are installed i will take it to dealer to set up steering sensors.

What exactly got damaged? I found 7k alot of money to spend for just a bent front strut + other things.

bushings, CV boot, rear wheel suspension items.
 

These items were also included. The price is not the issue in my question. I am wondering if the parts can be replaced wihout special tooling and fixtures? I have a shop but not allot of free time to explore this blind.
