Newbie Question
 

Hi

I am a new owner of a 3.0D sport 2005 model UK spec with NAV. My car has the wiring for a CD changer i.e a blue plug as per attached pic. Does anyone know what model number of CD player I need to buy as I am looking for a second hand machine on e-bay.

Think you need part no 65126913390. I assume that it comes with the CD magazine included, if not the magazine is part no 65128364931.

Many thanks can you confirm that I just need to plug the single blue connector shown in my pic inton the cd changer?

I can't be 100% certain as I just can't remember for sure, but when I took my CD changer out I THINK there were 2 plugs into the back. There was definitely an atenna type plug as well as the blue plug, I'm sure.

Perhaps someone else can jump in here and confirm....?

By the way KJL - whereabouts in the UK are you? I have an iPod kit fitted, so my CD changer is redundant....if you were relatively close I'd let you come and see if it fits / works before you buy one...I would sell you mine but I'll probably put it back to stock when I sell the car...I'm in Surrey.
